Experience of tizanidine use in treatment of post-stroke movement disorders
The study examined the efficacy and safety profile of Tizalud in different dosages and durations of use in treatment of post-stroke movement disorders. It was concluded that Tizalud makes positive effect on the performance of motor activity in patients with post-stroke movement disorders, significantly reduces degree of spasticity of muscles in paralyzed limbs. There is positive dynamics of neurophysiological characteristics of neuromotor system when the drug is being used. Tizalud at a dose of 12 mg per day may be recommended in treatment of motor disorders in patients after stroke, including ratio of spasticity and muscle strength, and also related neurological symptoms.
