Complex treatment of limb varicose disease
This issue deals with the effectiveness of complex treatment of limb varicose disease using Normoven (diosmin + hesperidin). 36 patients with limb varicose disease (II–III class CEAP) have undergone operative treatment, in 23 of them simultaneous vein scleroobliteration was performed. For the evaluation of the effectiveness of complex treatment all the patients have been divided into 2 groups: the 1st group including 34 cases with operative treatment only (Babcock's phlebectomy) and the 2nd group including 31 patient with complex surgical and postoperative 1 month Normoven treatment. Patients that were treated with Normoven noticed symptoms improvement twice frequently than those who have undergone operative treatment only. Thus, «heavy leg» syndrome remained in 7 (22.6%) cases, pain and edema in 5 (16.1%) and 4 (12.9%) cases accordingly, that was twice seldom than in patients without Normoven treatment.
