Indications for use
As a primary prevention of atherosclerosis and cardiovascular diseases.
As part of the complex therapy of atherosclerosis, coronary heart disease, arterial hypertension; for secondary prevention of myocardial infarction as an adjunct to standard treatments (e.g. statins, antiplatelet agents, beta-blockers, ACE inhibitors); in hypertriglyceridemia as an adjunct to dietary therapy, if the latter is not effective enough.
