Indications for use

Treatment of diseases caused by increased uric acid levels in the blood and the formation of urate/oxalate stones (e.g. gout, acute urate nephropathy and urate urolithiasis), as well as for the treatment of malignancies that potentially lead to exacerbation of all forms of hyperuricemia, namely, various haemoblastoses (acute leukaemia, chronic myeloid leukaemia, lymphosarcoma), urate nephropathy resulting from leukaemia treatment.

Congenital enzyme deficiencies, in particular, Lesch-Neehan syndrome (partial or complete deficiency of hypoxanthine-guanine phosphoribosyltransferase) or adenine phosphoribosyltransferase deficiency.

Treatment of diseases caused by insufficient activity of adenine phosphoribosyltransferase and formation of 2,8-dihydroxyadenine stones in the kidneys.

Treatment of diseases caused by formation of mixed calcium-oxalate stones in the kidneys in hyperuricosuria, which are not controlled by diet.
