DIFFERENTIATED APPROACH TO THE TREATMENT OF OSTEOARTHRITIS WITH COMORBIDITIES

Summary. he article presents the characteristics of the most common drugs in the treatment of osteoarthritis — NSAIDs and symptomatic anti-inflammatory drugs, including nimesulide, meloxicam, diacerein, chondroitin sulfate, glucosamine sulfate, ginger extract. Was investigated efficacy by indicators of articular syndrome, such as VAS, indices Lequesne, WOMAC. The effect on the level of cytokines (IL-1β, TNF-α, IGF-1, TGF-β), free radical (NO). As well as the opportunity to use in patients with comorbidities and the impact on purine, carbohydrate and lipid metabolism.
